The point I’m making is that Kenya isn’t working for all of us because it was designed to be so.

As far as the people who formed this state are concerned, Kenya is working as it should: keep the many poor, continue the extraction but make sure there is no civil war.

Young people are asking for jobs, but there aren’t any because it was designed to be so. Corruption: the state is designed to be corrupt. Huge amounts of debt because the biggest resource in Kenya is her people. Your labour. Your blood.

We are on our own. We have to realize this. Our oppressor is Kenya. Our oppressor is the state we have. We have to come to terms with that to make any meaningful change. What can we do about it?
